Damaged Shipments
At Ilias and Sons, we take every precaution to ensure that your high-phenolic olive oil, organic olives, and balsamic glazes arrive undamaged. However, in the rare case of damaged merchandise, please contact us within 4 days of receipt at [email protected] with:

Promotional Offers
From time to time, we may offer special discounts, sales, or promotional free shipping offers. All promotional free shipping offers apply only to orders shipped within Canada and the United States. International orders remain subject to calculated shipping charges even during promotional periods.
International Shipping & Customs

How to Request a Refund, Replacement, or Store Credit
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund, replacement, or store credit within 7 days of receiving your order by emailing us with:
- Your order number
- Product details and reason for the request
- A photo of the product (if applicable)

We gladly offer refunds, replacements, or store credit in the following cases:
- Damaged or Defective Products – If your product arrives damaged or defective, we will send a replacement or issue a refund or store credit
- Incorrect Orders – If you receive the wrong item(s), we will correct it at no extra cost
- Quality Concerns – If you’re unhappy with taste or quality, we offer store credit toward your next purchase
Order Cancellations
Every order placed with Ilias and Sons is prepared promptly to maintain freshness and small-batch quality. Because of this, we are unable to accommodate cancellations or refunds due to change of mind, finding a lower price, or purchasing from another supplier. These requests fall outside our satisfaction guarantee.
If a discretionary cancellation is approved prior to shipment, a 10% administrative and restocking fee will apply, along with the deduction of all applicable payment-processing fees (e.g., credit card, PayPal). Once an order has shipped, all sales are final. This policy ensures fairness to all customers and supports the sustainability of our small-batch operations.
Subscriptions
Subscription purchases are covered under this policy; however, all subscriptions activated with an introductory or discounted first order require a minimum three order commitment.
Our subscription program provides customers with discounted pricing and complimentary shipping as part of their ongoing commitment. If a cancellation is requested prior to completing the three-order minimum, the following conditions apply:
- The difference between the discounted subscription rate and the regular retail price of the product(s) will be applied to the customer’s account.
- A 10% administrative and processing fee, calculated on the total value of the three-month commitment, will also apply to cover fulfillment and operational costs.
- Alternatively, customers may choose to continue their subscription for the remaining term to retain all discounts and benefits.
- Once a subscription order has shipped, all sales are final.
These terms ensure fairness to all customers and protect the sustainability of our small-batch subscription program.
Important Terms and Conditions
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days after approval
- Store credit does not expire and can be used on future orders
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was ours
- All return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery
Greek Experience Tasting Events:
Bookings for our tasting events are non-refundable once confirmed. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, we offer a one-time complimentary rebooking for an alternative date, to be mutually agreed upon between Ilias and Sons and the guest(s). We do not offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows. If weather-related adjustments are necessary (e.g., rain or storms), we will work with you to reschedule in good faith and maintain the quality of the experience.
International Orders:
International customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect. All shipping costs are calculated accurately at checkout, and free shipping promotions apply only to Canada and US addresses. International returns may take 2-4 weeks longer to process due to customs clearance.
Wholesale and Large Order Return Policy (Orders $500 or more)
Orders of $500 or more are considered wholesale or bulk orders and are subject to the following additional terms:
- Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee will apply to all approved returns
- Administrative Fee: A $50 administrative fee applies to all returns over $500
- Processing Fees: Payment processing, fulfilment, and operational fees including PayPal and credit card fees are non-refundable
- Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping unless the item was defective or incorrect
- Custom or special orders are non-refundable
Refunds for wholesale orders will only be processed after returned products have been received, inspected, and approved
